Praises charter school students, families, teachers and leaders and backs a national week for charter schools from May 11 to 17, 2025.

• About 8,000 charter schools served about 3.7 million children in the 2021-2022 school year
• Charter schools operate in 45 states, plus Washington, D.C., Guam and Puerto Rico
• Charter schools are public schools that charge no tuition and enroll any student who wants to attend
• The Senate backs National Charter Schools Week, May 11 through 17, 2025
