Recognizes 250 years of the U.S. postal service, honors the people who work for it, and invites the public to join the celebration.

  • Notes the first national postal service was founded on July 26, 1775
  • Says it grew from 75 post offices in the 13 colonies to more than 30,000 locations
  • Notes mail and packages go 6 days a week to 168.6 million delivery points
  • Invites people to celebrate by writing a letter, buying stamps, or recognizing a postal worker
