Congratulates North Macedonia on independence anniversary
The Senate congratulates the people of North Macedonia on 34 years of independence and marks 30 years of diplomatic ties with the United States.
- North Macedonia became independent on September 8, 1991
- The U.S. and North Macedonia began full diplomatic relations in 1995
- Notes North Macedonia joined the NATO alliance in March 2020
- Recognizes the partnership between the Vermont National Guard and North Macedonia's army
