Commends Centenary College of Louisiana on its bicentennial

The Senate praises Centenary College of Louisiana for 200 years of service and sends a copy of the resolution to its president, provost and bicentennial committee.

• The college was established by Louisiana's legislature in 1825 and opened in 1826
• It merged with Centenary College in 1845 to form today's school in Shreveport
• The Senate asks that a copy be sent to the college's president, provost and bicentennial committee
