Congratulates Montana State football team on championship
The Senate congratulates the Montana State University Bobcats for winning the 2025 national college football championship in their division.
- The Bobcats beat Illinois State 35 to 34 in overtime on January 5, 2026
- It was the team's first title in this division since 1984 and fourth overall
- 44 players on the roster are from Montana
- A copy of the resolution goes to the university president, athletic director and head coach
