Supports U.S. athletes at 2026 Winter Olympics
The Senate says it backs the United States Olympic and Paralympic Teams competing at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
- Olympic Games run February 6-22, 2026; Paralympic Games March 6-15, 2026
- The U.S. plans to send 232 Olympic athletes, 115 women and 117 men
- At least 36 U.S. athletes have qualified for the Paralympic Games so far
- The Senate also thanks Italy for hosting and pledges safe games in Los Angeles in 2028
