Marks 10th anniversary of Columbine Day of Service
Honors the victims, survivors, and families of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting and marks 10 years of a yearly community service day held on April 20.
- 13 people, 12 students and 1 teacher, were killed in the 1999 shooting in Littleton, Colorado
- 24 others were physically injured, and the resolution offers condolences to those whose lives changed
- In 2024, people in 6 states and 10 countries took part in over 60 service projects with more than 1,600 participants
- Encourages people in the United States to remember the victims and join service work each April 20
