Recognizes April 6, 2026 as the day the Artemis II crew flew farther from Earth than any astronauts before, and celebrates the mission's launch and safe return.
- Crew reached 252,760 miles from Earth, beating the 1970 Apollo 13 record of 248,655 miles
- Mission launched April 1, 2026 and splashed down April 10 near San Diego
- First time a woman, a Black astronaut and a non-U.S. astronaut flew beyond low Earth orbit
- Honors crew Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen
