Names July 15, 2026, as a day to raise public awareness of glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain tumor, and to honor people living with it and those who died from it.
- An estimated 13,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2026
- The 5-year survival rate is about 7 percent, and median survival after diagnosis is 8 months
- The Senate supports more research and testing, and honors patients, families, and caregivers
