Commemorates 150th anniversary of Little Bighorn battle

The Senate marks 150 years since the 1876 Battle of the Little Bighorn and honors the soldiers, scouts, civilians and tribal warriors who died there.

• June 25, 2026 marks 150 years since the battle in southeastern Montana
• About 268 soldiers, scouts and civilians died, along with an estimated 60 to 100 Sioux and Cheyenne warriors
• Encourages people to visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument
