Recognizes third Friday of September as POW/MIA Day

Says the Senate supports naming the third Friday of September a day to honor prisoners of war and service members still missing from past conflicts.

• Over 80,000 U.S. service members are listed as missing in action
• About 41,000 are presumed lost at sea and roughly 38,000 are considered recoverable
• Since the early 1970s, 3,750 missing service members have been recovered
• Encourages people to join local events, display the POW/MIA flag, and help families
